
Unlike most food websites, I pride myself on providing easy-to-follow instructions that any man can follow. Anyone can cook, including the not so bright ones. One of my favorite little masterpieces is this next one. This is one of those dishes that I learned how to make from my aunt (the most talented cook ever in my opinion) many years ago. Are you ready for this? Now that you have put on your big boy pants, it’s time to start cooking.
1 box vanilla cake mix
One 8 ounce can of cherry pie filling.
One 8 ounce can of crushed pineapple. Get crushed or this set of instructions won’t work.
One stick of butter, melted.
Pour all wet ingredients into a 8×8 cake pans-dad evenly. Pour cake mix onto that and spread evenly. Melted butter should be poured on top of that. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Content should be stored in the fridge. Enjoy up to a week later.
Makes about 8 servings.
