Sexy Guys Cook: The Big Daddy Biscuit

Biscuit Mix 9 cups all-purpose flour * 1 cup milk ¼ cup baking powder 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon salt 2 cups shortening

Sexy Guys Cook: The Big Daddy Biscuit
Finished Big Daddy Biscuit should look like this.

The flour, dry milk, baking powder, and salt should be mixed together. Shortening should be cut into the mixture until the particles are the size of coarse cornmeal or approximately half the size of a BB pellet. Keep it refrigerated in an airtight container for up to one month. After that, that shit starts to sour, and that dough won’t rise.

Approximately 11 cups of mix can be made from this recipe.

The baking powder and salt should be omitted from the recipe if it is made with self-rising flour.

The oven should be heated to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

2 cups of Biscuit Mix (above) should be stirred with 1/2 cup of cold water until the mix is moistened and a soft dough begins to form. On a cloth-covered board that has been lightly floured, roll the dough into a ball. It is recommended that you knead the dough 5 times. A 1/2 inch thick piece of dough should be rolled. The cookie dough needs to be cut with two-inch cutters that have been floured. It takes roughly 12 minutes for The Big Daddy biscuits to turn golden brown when baked on an ungreased baking sheet.

A total of 11 to 13 biscuits can be made. Then you have a biscuit modeled after the man of the house. Big daddy himself, you!

That’s all for this instalment of Sexy Guys Cook. Stay greasy my fellow meat heads.
